Tinkering Toys for Imaginative Play!

Love for imagination and play inspired our pieces. We make sure there's a lot of room for storytelling and roleplaying with our toys. In this way, we get to encourage children to exercise their creativity and express their thoughts and feelings more openly! We want to keep communication lines open between parents and their children, at the same time promote open-ended exploration.

Imaginative play has also been found to be a great contributor in developing problem-solving skills, adaptive skills, and pro-social skills through discovery learning (Ortlieb, 2010) It is actually through this form of play that children get an optimal learning experience.

Our Materials

Each toy is carefully designed, cut, sanded, and painted with the thought that whoever gets to receive our toys will get to enjoy it for a really long while. To ensure our toys are sturdy and safe, supplies for them were carefully chosen.

Basswood

We use Basswood, a kind of lumber that is commonly used for making the body of musical instruments.

Handmade Rustic Paint

Our paints are locally sourced and handmade by artisans from Project Recoveries. It's non-toxic, water-based, and odor-free.

Natural Beeswax Wood Polish

To seal the paint and protect toys from any moisture, we use an all-natural beeswax + mineral oil wood polish.

Anti-Microbial Treatment

To keep toys "more than clean" we use Full Circle PH's biodegradable anti-microbial spray. It's 100% Non-toxic and Baby-friendly. They use an Eco-friendly solution, one that has passed the highest global standards.
